The last election showed The Big Mistake that some Republicans made! When they chose the new leaders of The Republican Party, they would not allow the hard-working Republicans to have any authority in selecting nominees. They wanted to keep that privilege for themselves to control votes on money distribution.
So, the good, hard-working Republicans would not partipate in their self-enriching greed and did not work to help them. They lost a State Senate election that should have been won, IF they respected the hard-working Republicans enough to give them respect in the Nomination Process.
Making their self-serving vanity obvious: They refused to have Secret Ballots when voting for Party Leaders. They controlled the process, put their own people in office, and saw their Republican Senators drop by one while Democrats added one.
That is the fate of all self-serving politicians in every Democracy since Athens. Voters soon realize: “We are better off under tyrants that tyrannical Republicans.”
