American History continued. One group of people in America supported families. The other supported slavery.
The two groups fought a Civil War from 1860 to 1864. The Family People won. Slaves were set free, but the war never stopped. Sullen, resentful, and filled with simmering rage, the proponents of slavery kept fighting against freedom and families.
The South’s agricultural slaves had to become share-croppers. They were only paid when they planted, tended, and picked cotton, tobacco, and other crops.
In the 1930s, those processes were automated by planters and pickers pulled by tractors. Millions of sharecroppers were left unemployed.
The Southern Slave Party saw its opportunity! They launched another attack on freedom and families. Trainloads of unemployed share-croppers were sent to Northern cities that were largely Catholic and crime-free. The Slave Party’s anti-Catholic Northern allies sent them into huge, high-rise buildings that were built at taxpayer expense in every Northern city.
BUT! The unemployed sharecroppers could only get free housing and other welfare benefits if they were single. And, they were given more welfare if they had more children. Families were destroyed. Growing waves of crime made those recently Catholic cities uninhabitable.
Generations of children without fathers sank into confusion and crime. Catholics and their voting blocs were scattered in the suburbs. They were forced to get mortgages to buy new homes to replace those that had been paid for and had to be sold for practically nothing. Many could not afford Catholic schools. Their children suffered the resulting confusion relished by Public Education.
Catholics got poorer. As the Slavery Party got richer, they began to invent new reasons for slavery with educational, environmental, and anti-family enterprises. Soon, the cities were able to seize power from rural areas, whose families were impoverished to pay the Northern Slavers for more anti-family legislation passed by City-dominated State Legislatures.
Some look at the near-total destruction visited upon Northern Cities and realize: “The South won the Civil War.”
An “Afterword” gives us time to think about the Word that will be spoken to us at the final Judgment of our soul, after our soul leaves our body and goes to Judgment.
The less time we have remaining on earth, the more important it is to think about getting our immortal soul into Heaven. May all be blessed to avoid being among those whose eternal fate is described in The Catholic Reading for November 22, 2024, Luke 19:45-48, with Words of He Who Fulfilled over 300 Prophecies:
“Jesus entered the temple area and proceeded to drive out those who were selling things, saying to them, ‘It is written, My house shall be a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves.’ And every day He was teaching in The Temple area. The chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people, meanwhile, were seeking to put Him to death, but they could find no way to accomplish their purpose because all the people were hanging on His Words.”
May all be blessed to be among “all the people” (are some “leaders of the people” to be seen as ‘less than people’?) who were blessed with The Faith in God to be “hanging on these Words”: “Love God and love your neighbor as yourself.” while remembering that He died in agony to leave “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” to His First Catholic Pope:
“And I say unto you, thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
No matter what our Faith is, The Family Wing of The Republican Party remembers what special interests always tell Pontius Pilate! John 19:15: “We have no God but Caesar.”
Whether we are in politics or not, may we all be blessed to consider the words of Dante, writer of “The Divine Comedy”. After The Bible, it is the “Best-selling book in History” because it shares Dante’s profound vision of Judgment, Heaven, and hell. He tells us clearly, “The souls of those who engage in ‘Complex Frauds’ spend eternity suffering in the lower six circles of hell.”
